        12 January 2024 was a special and memorable day for KingPowder. Not only did we hold our annual year-end review, we also celebrated the company's 20th anniversary. Staff from every team gathered at the new Jiangxi plant to look back, look ahead, recognise our people and share a banquet together.

      Every member of the KingPowder family held a commemorative medal designed for the 20th anniversary. The medal carries the company's culture and stands as a symbol of team cohesion. Its outer ring represents the unity and shared effort of our people; the twenty stars on the inner ring mark the twenty years KingPowder has travelled; and at the centre sits our brightest star, the KingPowder logo, which in 2024 put on a crown to greet its twentieth birthday.

      At the year-end review, Chairman Ning Haijin gave an in-depth account of the past year's achievements and challenges and set out a hopeful picture of the future. He defined the growth targets for the next three years and analysed the market situation for seven powder categories — boron nitride, silica, titanium dioxide, mica, kaolin, talc and pigments — as well as for slurries.

      KingPowder has always invested in technical innovation, actively pursuing from-zero-to-one R&D breakthroughs, drafting and defending a number of patents in-house, and building close cooperation with universities and research institutes. Notably, as the company that first introduced domestic organic and inorganic pigments, KingPowder will keep increasing investment in the development, production and promotion of organic and inorganic pigments, advancing the domestic development of cosmetic-grade colourants and taking China's own brands a step further onto the world stage.

         The chairman spoke highly of the results achieved in 2023 and stressed that the completion of the new plant will further expand capacity and raise production efficiency. Looking to 2024, KingPowder will continue to recruit talent, refine management and focus on developing the innovative capacity of its younger teams. We will also keep improving production processes, completing regulatory documentation and enhancing product performance, so as to supply customers worldwide with better raw materials.

KingPowder has also achieved notable results in new industrial markets. In the future we will maintain this strong momentum, draw on our technical strengths and brand influence, keep injecting new vitality and raise our global competitiveness. The chairman said he is confident in KingPowder's future and looks forward to creating an even brighter tomorrow with all our colleagues.

What our people said      At the banquet, the whole KingPowder team celebrated the company's birthday together. Over twenty years we have come a long way, with laughter and tears, and with the hard work and dedication of the team.       The chairman gave a speech marking KingPowder's 20th anniversary: "I want to thank our colleagues in particular. It is your hard work and selfless dedication that have brought the company to where it is today. You are the company's most valuable asset and the solid foundation for its future. Looking ahead, we will hold to our philosophy of 'craftsmanship and sincerity, precision in every detail', keep increasing R&D investment, improve product quality and service, and give customers better powder material solutions. I am convinced that with everyone's joint efforts KingPowder will become a globally recognised brand."

         At the 20th anniversary gala there was good wine and good food, and of course the eagerly awaited prize draw. Round after round of draws quickly fired up the room and brought the celebration to its peak. Touring the new Jiangxi plant

         The next day, colleagues from Guangzhou and Shanghai set off to tour the new plant. They experienced its modern, international-standard facilities first-hand and gained a close look at the quality control department, the R&D department and the production workshops. The plant's efficient production lines and rigorous quality control left a deep impression.

        The visit gave everyone a more direct understanding of the new plant and filled them with expectation and confidence in KingPowder's future. A colleague from international sales gave a delighted thumbs-up after the tour to show her appreciation. We are convinced that KingPowder will keep leading the industry and write an even brighter chapter.Photos of the new plant

          This annual gathering was more than a celebration: it was a chance to work together and plan for growth. It brought our people closer and lifted morale.
