When the botanical notes of the Amazon meet the precision of Eastern craft,

when Eastern craftsmanship meets South American passion,

when every particle of powder says,

"I can make your product better",

this meeting across hemispheres

was bound to strike a new spark in the beauty market.

23–24 September 2025

at the São Paulo Expo in Brazil,

a celebration of beauty ingredients unfolded,

as KingPowder brought its powder magic

to in-cosmetics Latin America 2025

and sparked a revolution in skin feel.

KingPowder set out to make them the lead —

no longer invisible helpers buried in the base,

but ingredients that speak with a clear performance claim.

In liquid foundation

they are the skin-feel manager: adjusting texture, extending wear and controlling shine.

In loose powder

they are the finish keeper: setting makeup without drying, and blurring the look of pores.

In sunscreen

they are the protection partner: gentle, safe and effective UV defence.

With powders that speak for themselves,

KingPowder is redefining the value powders bring to beauty.

On 15 September the Consumer Council of Hong Kong published test results for 30 mud-based cleansing masks with worrying findings: 28 samples contained heavy metals, and two exceeded both Chinese and US limits for arsenic and lead, making them high-risk options. The results drew industry attention to the safety of raw materials in mud masks and quickly became a talking point at the show.

Still wrestling with the colour challenge in the Brazilian market?

Makeup that turns ashy on deeper skin tones, highly saturated pigments that fly and settle into lines, natural pigments that are hard to formulate with — these are the problems South American beauty brands keep running into. KingPowder brings a tailored pigment programme, drawing on twenty years of Eastern craftsmanship to unlock colour for Latin American makeup and turn a pigment problem into a product highlight.

In-house developed organic pigments and lakes:

a from-zero-to-one breakthrough

that fills a gap in domestic technology.

Cosmetic-grade organic pigments

reach a peak in both safety and colour:

high purity and high safety,

high tinting strength and high chroma,

excellent value and strong stability,

giving formulations a refined sense of colour.

Ultra-fine inorganic pigments:

a dedicated micronising process breaks down coarse particles

for a more uniform particle size,

raising both colour saturation and tinting strength,

upgrading the fineness of application

and gliding more smoothly onto skin,

backed by high chemical purity

with stability and safety at the top of the range.

The pigments are not the only highlight — the slurries are just as distinctive.

Pre-dispersed slurries:

KingPowder's own powder surface treatment technology

disperses the powder completely and mills it to an even fineness.

The pigment is highly dispersed, raising tinting strength;

high loading, high stability, low viscosity;

instantly convenient, ready for unlimited creativity.

Surface treatment agents and dispersion media can be selected

to build a slurry closely matched to your system,

tailored to the colour needs of South America.

As the largest economy and most populous country in South America, Brazil has the region's biggest cosmetics and fragrance market and ranks as the world's fourth-largest beauty consumer.

The Brazilian beauty market kept heating up in 2025. A growing middle class combined with the spread of digital consumption has boosted online channels and social commerce; natural and sustainable products, climate-adapted formulas and functional products have become essentials; and tighter ANVISA regulation alongside intensifying brand competition means opportunity and challenge for ingredient suppliers. KingPowder, with twenty years in powders, draws on technical depth and a global outlook to meet these needs precisely, showing at the Brazilian show how well it fits the market.

Artur Grynbaum, president of the Brazilian cosmetics group Grupo Boticário, once said that the cosmetics industry has a particular quality: people look to cosmetics to find confidence, especially when life is hard.  At KingPowder we believe the same — what we deliver is not powder, but the solid foundation for that confidence.
